Frequently Asked Questions:

What are Foreclosure Posting Lists?
In Texas, the public aspect of the foreclosure process begins when the trustees post properties for foreclosure at the county courthouse in which the property is located. This must be done at least 21 days before the auction. The auction is always on the first Tuesday of the month.

What are the Sold Posting Lists also known as R.E.O. (real estate owned) properties or Bank Owned Properties?
Rex Report also has lists of properties that have been purchased by, among others, banks at the foreclosure auctions. Rex subscribers find out about details of bank auction purchases before the banks officers even know! Since almost all Internet R.E.O. lists gather their lists from the banks, then they don't have the information either! Furthermore, not all lenders make their auction purchase information available to these lists. Rex Report has our researchers at the auction. Don't buy incomplete, dated, R.E.O. lists!

Rex Report has Sold lists only for Bexar, Travis, Webb, and Williamson Counties, the most populous counties in central Texas.

Why do the Product pages have so many download options?
The pdfs that are offered for download enables the user to arrange the postings to your specific requirements. For example, you may want properties that were purchased farther back to appear first in the listings. Download the "Execution Date" pdf as the desired sort and the properties will be sorted with the oldest property purchased first in the list.
